The Challenge
What were some of the challenges faced when starting your business?
The first challenge was finding the right business model, product, and market fit. While there are plenty of baseball fans out there, finding the right customer and figuring out how to reach them was a challenge.
How do you feel your business has evolved over the years?
How we package the tours has changed slightly over the years. We are constantly striving to add new experiences to our tours and products to keep things innovative and exciting.
As time has passed our core focus is still the same - to provide top-notch seats, locations, and accommodation.
The Solution
How did you come across WeTravel?
We had used a couple of other reservation systems in the past, and they were always a lot to manage. Individual reservations involved multiple steps and we were looking for a better solution. We found WeTravel to simplify the booking process and solve these problems.
How was the adoption process of using WeTravel?
It was straightforward. Creating one tour and using that as a template for our other tours was an easy process. With WeTravel, you can easily replicate tour pages and adjust them for all your offerings.
Using WeTravel was seamless from the start. Once we got the first tour up the rest just fell into place.
How did your clients adapt to using WeTravel?
There was a clear disparity between the old system versus WeTravel in terms of how much easier the process is, and this was picked up by customers (especially repeat customers) as they felt it was easier to manage their booking.
Most people appreciate the fact that it's a one-step process and not a multi-step process. They're able to book and pay without needing to have much interaction with us. They can also ask questions from the platform that we can answer timelessly.
The Impact
What are some of the main benefits you’ve experienced since using WeTravel?
With WeTravel, it’s effortless to create tour packages. We love how the application breaks down the tours for us, and we love being able to use the dashboards to see and manage people on the tours.
We can easily communicate with customers and send reminders through the platform.
Managing all of the behind-the-scenes stuff with WeTravel has been very easy. Whenever we've had a question the customer support has been fantastic. With every other experience we’ve had with other applications that was not the case. The team at WeTravel helps us in every way to make our lives easier.
Is WeTravel helping you meet your business goals?
Yes definitely. When we look at the amount of time previously spent on administration and reservations, WeTravel has dramatically reduced that time to give us more time to focus on other tasks.
The reports and dashboards make it easy to understand what's happening and help us make a more informed business decision. Overall, WeTravel has saved us a ton of administrative time and effort.
