WeTravel raised $27 million in Series B funding led by Left Lane Capital, Base10 Partners and other notable angel investors to scale operations and expand product capabilities, particularly around payments and global accessibility.

2022 – Global Expansion & Hiring Milestones

WeTravel significantly expanded its team and opened new hubs outside of the U.S., with growing presence in Europe and Latin America to support a global client base.

Ted Clements was appointed CEO. Johannes Koeppel, co-founder, transitioned to Chief Product Officer, strengthening the executive team with travel tech expertise.

2025 – WeTravel Operating System Launch

WeTravel launched as the first Operating System for multi-day travel operators, transforming to an end-to-end software and payment processor. Features included AI itinerary builder, traveler management, and multi-currency checkout.

2025 – Growth Momentum

With continued feature expansion and strategic hiring, WeTravel supports over 8,000 travel businesses worldwide and processes hundreds of millions in payments annually. To support growth, it expanded operations into APAC, with the first office in Sydney, Australia.

$92 million Series C funding led by Sapphire Ventures, with participation from Left Lane Capital, Base10, Cross Creek and others. The funding cements WeTravel as the category leader in technology for the multi-day travel industry.
