Are there any minimums, maximums, or other limitations on contribution payments?
The minimum contribution is $5. The maximum contribution amount is the remaining balance (including installments due in the future). For example, if the participant has paid $200 for a $1,000 trip, then the maximum amount that the contributor can pay is $800. Otherwise, contribution payment amounts can be freely chosen.
Are contribution pages available for trips denominated in all currencies?
Contribution pages are available in all currencies. Additionally, contributors can select to pay in USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, NZD, CHF, DKK, NOK, SEK, PLN, HKD and MXN if the trip is priced in any of these currencies.
What information is required from the contributor?
The contributor simply enters their contribution amount, name, and email address.
Can contributed payments be refunded?
Yes, contributed payments can be refunded in the same way as any other payments connected to the booking. The refund goes directly to the original payment method of the person who contributed.
How are contribution payments marked in reporting?
Contribution payments are recorded like any other payments in our reporting. The contributor's name and email are not visible in reporting. You can view that information in the activity log for each booking.
